Just when we all the hype died down about Dark Knight…Just when we thought all hope was lost because they didn’t sweep the Oscars…Just when we began to shove The Dark Knight into the closet with the rest of the timeless classics… The Dark Knight up and gets 11 nominations.
The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror announced the nominees for the 2008 Saturn Awards and The Dark Knight and crew received 11 nominations including the big boy… Best Action/Adventure/Thriller film.
Also in the fight for the Best Action/Adventure/Thriller Film are Changeling, Gran Torino, Quantum of Solace, Traitor and Valkyire. Though these movies were great and have every right to win this award, I think it’s safe to say the The Dark Knight has this one in the bag. Unfortunately, they awards won’t be handed out until June 25. So as you begin to get caught up in all the summer Movie Madness be sure to look out for the results.
